TRAPSNet
TRAPSNet is a variant of the Textron Defense Systems Tactical Rocket-Propelled Grenade Airbag Protection System (TRAPS) architecture, using a net countermeasure to protect vehicles against RPG threats.
While similar systems use static net configurations that might interfere with line of sight around the vehicle, the TRAPSNet system uses Textron Defense Systems’ sensors to detect incoming RPG threats before deploying the net countermeasure, protecting the vehicle and its passengers.
