Mobile Microwave Landing System (MMLS)
Textron Defense Systems’ Mobile Microwave Landing System (MMLS) is the only portable microwave- landing system in production. Designed as a Category I Navigation System to guide planes to the ground safely in rapid-deployment situations, the microwave-based MMLS experiences less interference than instrument-based landing systems, and can accommodate more aircraft in the coverage volume.
