Textron Defense Systems' Advanced Air Delivered Sensor (AADS) is designed
to enhance the war fighter's ability to detect and react
to time-sensitive targets. AADS provides an unattended
"on the ground" sensor that can detect, identify
and report on enemy vehicle or personnel activity within
vulnerable or hostile areas, in Near-Real-Time (NRT).
This seismic and acoustic Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS)
provides true situational awareness to centralized command
agencies and supports effects-based operations enabling
the war fighter to remotely detect, discriminate, and
act decisively.
