Infrared Countermeasures and Surveillance
Textron Defense Systems has developed a range of high-energy pulsed lasers that have been proven effective in defeating advanced infrared (IR) missile-based threats. Our research and development activities include all aspects of IR countermeasure systems, such as beam control and overall system hardware concepts.
In addition, we have developed a range of laser-based target acquisition, tracking, pointing and beam control systems for various mobile platforms. Textron Defense Systems designs, fabricates, assembles, tests and provides post-delivery maintenance and upgrades for our surveillance systems.
