For more than 30 years, Textron Defense Systems has been developing and manufacturing air-deliverable precision strike “smart” technologies to support changing and expanding battlefield engagements. As prime contractor, we’ve supplied the U.S. Air Force with our premier combat-proven, clean air-to-surface Sensor Fuzed Weapon, equipped with the remarkable BLU-108 submunition.

Next generation variants such as the Selectively Targeted Skeet (STS) submunition, Clean Light Area Weapon (CLAW) and Universal Aerial Delivery Dispenser U-ADD, are just a few examples of how we continue to leverage technological advances in sensors, algorithms and software to provide solutions capable of integration across varied and multiple platforms including Unmanned Air Vehicles and future cruise missiles.
