Take Our Sons/Daughters to Work Day

Textron Defense Systems sponsors days when employees are encouraged to bring their sons and daughters to work to share the workday experience with their parents. Activities including guided tours, employee-run workshops and special keynote presenters help educate children about the importance of learning and aspiring to reach future personal and professional goals.

Textron Defense Systems' Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP is a free, confidential service designed to help employees and their families address and resolve personal issues. Similar to a personal consultant, EAP helps you or your family members clearly identify and evaluate the nature of any personal or work-related problems that may arise. Skilled professionals research and recommend appropriate resources, offer referrals and provide the guidance necessary to help you select the most effective course of action.

Beyond the workplace, employees can take advantage of discounts provided by various museums and parks, as well as sporting and cultural venues. Employee-sponsored clubs and recreational activities include picnics, holiday celebrations, golf tournaments and other athletic programs.
